Fund Annual Reports 2020

The Board secretariat will upload LGPS pension fund annual reports for 2020 on this page as it is made aware of their publication.
Note that clause 57 of the LGPS Regulations sets the deadline for publication of the Pension Fund Annual Report. However, since the Local Government Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015 brought forward the deadline, from 2018, to 31st July, from 2018 onwards, many local authorities have brought forward publication of their Pension Fund Annual Report and Accounts accordingly.

30 April 2021 - as at April 2021, the Scheme Advisory Board secretariat noted that 23 of the 88 audit opinions in respect of pension fund accounts of associated administering authorities remained outstanding.

16 March 2021 - PSAA welcomes the NAO’s report on the timeliness of local auditor reporting in local government

Further to the 04 December report, NAO reported that as of 31 December 2020, PSAA data showed that 200 of the 267 audit opinions that were outstanding on 30 November 2020 remained so.
