Biography
Les worked for Durham County Council for 26 years and retired in March 2025. He has been a Trade Union Representative for GMB for 22 years and is currently Branch President of his branch. He has been on LGPS GMB steering group for over 10 years and is currently Chair of this steering group. He also has been on the Pension Committee of Durham County Council for the last 10 years working alongside County Councillors and Officers of Durham County Councillors. He has been a Stanley Town Councillor for the past 8 years.Member since
