Biography
Ben has worked for UNISON for almost 30 years. He is the senior national officer in the UNISON Education and Children’s Services Department, representing members who work in schools, colleges and universities. Ben has been the lead pensions policy officer in the team for over twenty years, dealing with members’ pensions issues in the LGPS, USS, SAUL and multiple local higher education pension schemes. He is currently UNISON lead and trade union side secretary for higher education as well as being a negotiator on the School Support Staff Negotiating Body (SSSNB).
