Scheme Advisory Board launches autumn programme of engagement events

As part of the Scheme Advisory Board’s Communications Strategy, we are pleased to launch our autumn programme of engagement events, designed to support collaboration, knowledge sharing and discussion across the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).

The programme brings together a range of events for different audiences across the LGPS, providing opportunities to explore current issues, share experiences and hear about developments affecting the Scheme.

Our autumn programme includes:

• 7 September 2026 – Inaugural Local Pension Board Forum, introduced by Cllr Roger Phillips OBE
• 15 September 2026 – New Councillor Welcome Event, hosted by Cllr Roger Phillips OBE
• 1 October 2026 – Independent Governance Review (IGR) Event for officers
• 22 October 2026 – Scheme Advisory Board Annual Assembly for pension committee and local pension board chairs, chaired by Cllr Roger Phillips OBE
