SAB centralised Code of Transparency data system closing down: 3 month notice
The Board is today publishing this notice confirming that the centralised data system run by Byhiras in support of the LGPS Code of Transparency is now in its final three months of operation.
The system will be taken down at 5.00 pm on Friday, 28 August 2026 and users will not be able to access any data in the system after this point. The data held in the Byhiras system will be securely deleted and will no longer be available or recoverable by users or Byhiras. The Board will also not have access to this data. After the contract expires, the website will be inaccessible, and the service will be decommissioned.
Users are strongly advised to download all of their data from the system over the next few months, leaving sufficient time to contact Byhiras directly at [email protected] to resolve any issues in doing this.
Users are also advised to notify asset managers about the closing down of the systems and discuss the arrangements for sharing cost information in the future. This may include usage of the new Cost Transparency and Benchmarking Services framework launched by the Board and the National LGPS Frameworks team.
The Board thanks Byhiras for their pivotal work in supporting the implementation of the LGPS Code of Transparency over the last seven years and helping us make standardised investment cost reporting business as usual within the LGPS. We are very pleased to now commence this new phase of delivery with the launching of the new framework.
A news story on the launch of the new framework was published on 11 May 2026.
