Technical information about this website’s accessibility
The Local Government Pension Scheme Advisory Board Secretariat is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
Non-accessible content
The content that is not accessible is outlined below with details of where it fails the success criteria and planned dates for when issues will be fixed.
There are menus and pages where content may not be structured logically or be navigated and read by a screen reader. There may also be pages without descriptive links, meaningful headings and labels or use of proper markup for every feature. These fail WCAG 2.1 success criterion (Design principles). There are limitations to the site structure inherent of the content management system, these issues will be addressed during a complete review of the website within the year.
Some tables in content do not have table row headers when needed. This fails WCAG 2.1A 1.3.1 success criterion (Info and Relationships). The planned fix date for these is September 2020.
Focused links and buttons sometimes do not have enough contrast. This fails WCAG 1.4.11 AA (Non-text Contrast). The planned fix date for these is September 2020.
There is a considerable quantity of archive material (produced before 23 September 2018) which is not essential for services the organisation provides, not updated and therefore exempt. Where this information is required in a different format, please contact us as above.
